Account & Billing

How does billing work?

You only pay once you’re placed in a group. There’s zero cost during signup, onboarding, or while waiting for your match. Once your group launches, billing starts at the beginning of your first full month.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes - you can cancel your membership if it’s no longer the right fit for your business. Contact support to review your billing status and confirm next steps before submitting a cancellation.

Is there a free trial?

There’s no traditional trial, but you don’t pay anything until you’re matched into a group - so you can complete your profile and see the platform risk-free before any charges begin.

How do I update my payment method?

Contact support and we’ll help you update the card on file. Self-serve billing management is on our roadmap.

Groups

How are groups formed?

Our matching algorithm considers your industry, location, networking style, and behavioral preferences. We look for complementary professionals - people who can genuinely refer business to each other - rather than identical profiles.

How many people are in a group?

Groups have a minimum of 8 members, and sizes vary depending on the mix of professionals available in your area. The goal is always a group large enough for diverse referral opportunities while keeping things personal.

What if I miss a meeting?

Life happens. Missing a session occasionally is fine - your group members will catch you up. If you need to miss several in a row, let your group know through the app so they’re not waiting on you.

How often does my group meet?

Meeting cadence depends on what your group decides together. You’ll coordinate scheduling through the app’s Meetings flow once your group is active.

Can I switch groups?

Yes. If your current group isn’t the right fit, contact support and we’ll work with you to find a better match. We want every member in a group that energizes them.

Networking & Referrals

How do referrals work?

When a group member encounters someone who needs your services, they pass along an introduction. You’ll get a notification in the app with the referral details. It’s warm, personal, and based on real trust - not cold leads.

Who can see my profile?

Your profile is visible to members in your assigned group. Privacy controls are available in your account settings if you’d like to adjust visibility.

What if no one in my group is in a complementary industry?

Our matching algorithm prioritizes complementary industries (e.g., realtors with mortgage brokers, accountants with financial advisors). If your match doesn’t feel right, let us know - we’ll re-evaluate.

Technical

What browsers are supported?

Rhythm of Business works best in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari (latest versions). We recommend Chrome or Edge for the smoothest experience, especially for video features.

What are the video requirements?

For your intro video, your device’s built-in camera works great. Good lighting and a quiet space are all you need, and aiming for 30-60 seconds works best. For group sessions, a stable internet connection and a working microphone are all you need.

Can I use the app on my phone?

Yes! Rhythm of Business is a Progressive Web App (PWA). During onboarding, you’ll be prompted to install it on your home screen. It works like a native app - no app store download needed.

My intro video won’t save. What should I do?

Intro videos are recorded right in the browser, so start by checking your internet connection and camera permissions. If the recording still won’t save, try Chrome or Edge and keep your intro to 60 seconds or less. Contact support if the issue persists.

Getting Started

How do I join?

Visit our How It Works page to learn about the platform, or check Pricing for subscription options. You can also join the waitlist directly.

You’ll complete a short onboarding flow: set your location, choose your industry, record a quick intro video, and adjust your networking style preferences. Then we match you with a compatible group.

How long does matching take?

It depends on your location and industry. In active areas we can match you within days. In newer markets it may take longer as we build the member base. You won’t be charged until you’re placed.
